Russian President Dmitry Medvedev meanwhile would not come to the summit due to general elections in his country.

In the APEC CEO Summit forum President Yudhoyono delivered a speech titled "The Asia Pacific Century" that reaffirms the Asia Pacific role as the world`s axis of economic growth in the 21st century.

At the APEC Summit Yudhoyono presented his view on Indonesia`s energy policy that emphasized efficiency and diversification to reduce dependency of fossil fuel.

While in Honolulu President Yudhoyono also met with US top business leaders.

The 19th ASEAN Summit meanwhile is expected to become one of the milestones for peace as it has been prepared to produce a Bali Declaration on ASEAN Community within the Global Community of Nations
