Indonesian held Indonesian Day and Charity Bazaar last 9-11 May 2014 in Hungary

Indonesian Embassy in Budapest held one of the biggest event called Indonesian Day and Charity Bazaar in Budapest, Hungary from 9 to 11 May 2014.

This event held in order to promote Indonesian Tourism, Food, Handicraft, Dance and Music.

Many performer participate in this event.They performed Indonesian traditional dance and music.

Such as Amadinda Group, Hungarian group that contains Hungaria people who are professional at playing a musical Indonesian instrument. Arum Melati, and dance performance from Sanata Dharma Yogyakarta.

At the end of event, Indonesian Embassy finally raise 1,000,000 forint to be donated to disabillities org in Miskolc.

Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia held a cultural art performances Indonesia Kirana in two different cities in Hungary. In the objective promotion of culture, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia pick one of the prestigious State University of Indonesia, University of Padjadjaran to held this event.
Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, together with several travel agents from Indonesia and Hungary participated in the largest Tourism Fair in Budapest, Hungary.
Last August 17th, 2014 Indonesia Celebrate their Independence Day and closing the celebration with Diplomatic Reception on the next September 10th.
The 3rd Indonesian presidential election was held on 9 July 2014[2] and matched former general Prabowo Subianto against the governor of Jakarta, Joko Widodo; incumbent president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was constitutionally barred from seeking a third term in office.[3][4] On 22 July the General Elections Commission announced a Widodo′s victory. He and his vice-president, Jusuf Kalla, are expected to be sworn-in on 20 October 2014, for a 5-year term.
